Roses

So I've been trying to expand my very limited crocheting ability and I learned how to make these:

The brown yarn was the only color I had that was the correct weight/consistancy. These are my first attempt at roses which turned out to be pretty quick and simple. I will be making much prettier ones with better, more colorful yarn. I mean, who wants brown roses??

I was experimenting with adding a center. I haven't decided how I feel about it yet.
