By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

How far along? 28 weeks! 7 months! Beginning the 3rd trimester!! WHOOOOOOOOOOO!
Total weight gain: You shut your filthy mouth.
Maternity clothes? Didn't you hear, I am miraculously wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes now......
Stretch Marks: Ummmm pretty soon this is going to be like the weight subject (see above), but for now, I've got a total of 3 forming on my hips. They are like little extensions of old ones. None on my belly so far.
Sleep: I've been sleeping with like 4 pillows to prop myself up. What a difference!
Best moment this week: Getting my first "are you due today" question. No, but thanks. I have 12 weeks.
Movement: I'm thinking that she is literally walking along the walls of my uterus and doing little back flips.
Gender: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs? Nada
Belly Button in or out? In but I can make it come out now and it's pretty gross. Some people have cute outie buttons but mine looks like an old vagina.
What I miss: Uncooked cookie dough. Yum!
What I am looking forward to: Family getting here Saturday!
Weekly Wisdom: Start putting vitamin E on my hips. Get it before it gets real bad. Fatty. Also, just because you were allowed to take Unisom to help you sleep in the first trimester doesn't mean it's a good idea to try it again unless you want to put your baby to sleep for a good 24 hours and have a minor panic attack because you can't feel her moving. PS. If you do that, drink some coffee. It will wake her up temporarily.
Milestones: I made it to the 3rd trimester!
And here is my beautiful baby (belly)!
Yeah, so I am a little mismatched in the apparel (pink hat, blue shirt) but it's cold here. And yes, I'm on the phone, with Bristol, who is 3 weeks ahead of me in her own pregnancy and on her way to her bi-monthly doctor visit. So there. Now maybe you can understand why people think I'm due right now.

Look at that perfectly round belly! You look great! I think that vomit mouth guy must not have any children, because you definitely do not look like you're due today.
ReplyDeletevomit mouth guy! HAHA!!! Thank you thank you! I sure FEEL like I could be due today.
ReplyDeleteYou're adorable. And your answers made me LOL, especially the old vagina comment. I'm still LOLing, actually.
ReplyDeleteThanks Natalie!! BTW, I'm pretty sure you're going to win the contest. I know I've been voting for you everyday.
