4th Day of Christmas Present

Since we didn't do anything yesterday but hang out, my 4th day of Christmas present was L.O.V.E! Yep! I got a backrub and this morning I got taken out for breakfast, since Josh had to run to work yesterday morning and we couldn't do it then.

I had a Bacon Avacado Burrito and Hash Browns smothered in cheese, onions and gravy. It was delish and Hunter loved it too. Well I'm assuming all her little kicks means she loves it. She pretty much moves constantly when she's awake....so who knows for sure.

We finished all our Christmas shopping and tomorrow my mom will be here for another week! We have big plans to learn how to make these:

They are called Newborn Cocoons and I am going to make one for everyone I know. It is the most adorable thing I have ever seen (at least until I have a picture of Hunter sleeping in one). If you are crafty or a wannabe crafty person, you should check out this new website called Rhythm of the Home.

They have beautiful, hand made items with step by step instructions on how to make them yourself. They have just published their first edition and are looking for ideas for their upcoming Spring Edition. They have also just launched their new blog and are featuring their first giveaway so be sure and visit them.

I am so jealous that you are going to make them! I have to learn to knit if it kills me. That is my New Year's Resolution.

Pregnancy Timeline

6-29-09: Positive Pregnancy Test. Completely unexpected. I wasn't even late yet! 4 weeks pregnant!
7-17-09: First OB appointment with Dr. L
7-19-09: Threw up for the first time!
7-21-09: First U/S! Heart Rate was 131
8-14-09: Heard the Heart Beat for the first time. 170
8-19-09: 2nd U/S actually looking like a baby!
9-20-09: Daddy felt his first kick!
10-9-09: First big baby items arrived today!
10-14-09: 3rd U/S! It's a GIRL!
11-11-09: 4th U/S! Still a GIRL! Heart has 4 chambers! She kicked the U/S tech! Heart rate was 158.
12-21-09: OB appointment. Measuring 3 weeks ahead. Estimated baby weight is currently between 3-4 pounds. Still have 11 weeks to go. Say a prayer for me. She's a big girl. Heart rate was between 140-150.
1-4-10: OB appointment. Measuring 2 weeks ahead. Heart rate was between 140-150.
1-11-10: 3D Ultrasound. 100% GIRL! Heart rate 154 and weight was 5lbs 9 oz. Still measuring 2 weeks ahead.
1-18-10: OB appointment. Measuring normal again. Heart rate was 147.
1-26-10: Admitted to L&D for high BP and heart rate. Baby is perfectly fine!
1-29-10: Discharged from L&D with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and put on strict bedrest.
2-1-10: Back to L&D. Discharged same day with a muscle strain in my lower abdomen. Ultrasound showed a GIRL weighing about 6lbs 1 oz. Back to measuring 2 weeks ahead. Oh yeah, and I'm dilated to 1 cm.
2-3-10: Diagnosed with mild preeclampsia by Dr. L. Have to have weekly ultrasounds and lab work. Not dilated anymore.
2-6-10: Back to L&D with high blood pressure. Having mild contractions. Discharged sameday.
2-8-10: Off to L&D to get induced tonight! Pre-eclampsia is just getting worse.
2-9-10: Discharged AGAIN from L&D. Still pregnant. Induction started and then postponed. Rescheduled for 2/15
2-12-10: OB appointment. BP of 158/110. Back to L&D for good this time. Cervidil scheduled for 2/14 pm. Pitocin scheduled for 2/15 am.
2-15-10: Gave birth to my beautiful baby girl! 7 lbs even, 21 inches long. 3 weeks early and perfectly healthy!
