My First Mother's Day (with an outside baby)!

Josh and I have celebrated Mother's Day and Father's Day since we lost our first baby in 2007, but this is my FIRST Mother's Day with an outside baby! My sweet little girl!!

I woke up to breakfast in bed! French Toast and Coffee (just how I like it, with cocunut creme creamer and sugar)! My little girl was ALL smiles this morning, more than usual. It's like she KNEW it was Mother's Day! I got several presents from her and my mom took me shopping so I could get some "post-pregnancy body clothes" (you know......fat........). We got dressed, in dresses, and went to lunch, just the three of us. Hunter slept through lunch (which is a good thing) and then we came home and watched Baby Einstien (there's that "ie" combo again....i before e right??). Then I took a nap with my little girl and had some super yummy snuggle time! Now I'm just relaxing with my mom, watching TV and remembering that I had homework due today and I didn't finish it......uggghhhh.

It was a great, relaxing Mother's Day! Just what I love!

Happy 1st Mother's Day to my friends Natalie and Michelle and all my bloggy mom and bloggy mommy-to-be friends! I hope you had a great one!!

I'm late, but Happy "1st" Mother's Day to you too mama. I say "1st" b/c you and I both know you were a mama even before your lil miss came along. *hugs*

Pregnancy Timeline

6-29-09: Positive Pregnancy Test. Completely unexpected. I wasn't even late yet! 4 weeks pregnant!
7-17-09: First OB appointment with Dr. L
7-19-09: Threw up for the first time!
7-21-09: First U/S! Heart Rate was 131
8-14-09: Heard the Heart Beat for the first time. 170
8-19-09: 2nd U/S actually looking like a baby!
9-20-09: Daddy felt his first kick!
10-9-09: First big baby items arrived today!
10-14-09: 3rd U/S! It's a GIRL!
11-11-09: 4th U/S! Still a GIRL! Heart has 4 chambers! She kicked the U/S tech! Heart rate was 158.
12-21-09: OB appointment. Measuring 3 weeks ahead. Estimated baby weight is currently between 3-4 pounds. Still have 11 weeks to go. Say a prayer for me. She's a big girl. Heart rate was between 140-150.
1-4-10: OB appointment. Measuring 2 weeks ahead. Heart rate was between 140-150.
1-11-10: 3D Ultrasound. 100% GIRL! Heart rate 154 and weight was 5lbs 9 oz. Still measuring 2 weeks ahead.
1-18-10: OB appointment. Measuring normal again. Heart rate was 147.
1-26-10: Admitted to L&D for high BP and heart rate. Baby is perfectly fine!
1-29-10: Discharged from L&D with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and put on strict bedrest.
2-1-10: Back to L&D. Discharged same day with a muscle strain in my lower abdomen. Ultrasound showed a GIRL weighing about 6lbs 1 oz. Back to measuring 2 weeks ahead. Oh yeah, and I'm dilated to 1 cm.
2-3-10: Diagnosed with mild preeclampsia by Dr. L. Have to have weekly ultrasounds and lab work. Not dilated anymore.
2-6-10: Back to L&D with high blood pressure. Having mild contractions. Discharged sameday.
2-8-10: Off to L&D to get induced tonight! Pre-eclampsia is just getting worse.
2-9-10: Discharged AGAIN from L&D. Still pregnant. Induction started and then postponed. Rescheduled for 2/15
2-12-10: OB appointment. BP of 158/110. Back to L&D for good this time. Cervidil scheduled for 2/14 pm. Pitocin scheduled for 2/15 am.
2-15-10: Gave birth to my beautiful baby girl! 7 lbs even, 21 inches long. 3 weeks early and perfectly healthy!
