I had to put her in a 3 month footie outfit today cause she's getting too long for the smaller sizes. I think she's going to be tall, like her daddy. Well hopefully not AS tall as her daddy, he's 6'4". No offense to those SUPER tall women out there, but really.....I haven't seen any big and tall stores for women....soooooo.
She also has a new love in her life. Her Newborn Soothie pacifier. I never got one at the hospital so I was giving her the Nuk pacifiers, but she stopped taking it and I spent about a week of fussing before Bristol (friend/neice's mother, had her daughter the same day as me) gave me one of her extra pacifiers and Hunter is officially addicted. I've never battled the ol' "to give, or not to give" in the pacifier area. I just figured if she liked it, she could use it. And she loves this new pacifier. So much that she............are you ready for this......sleeps in her own bed now!! I know! That's what I said!
Bath + Swaddle + Paci = SLEEPY BABY!!
And even though she doesn't have control of her arms yet, she still manages to hold her pacifier in her mouth! GENIUS!
She loves to stare at her mobile on her swing. And she'll even fall asleep without me having to rock her to sleep! MIRACLE!!
And look at this gem......
GORGEOUS!
Oh yeah, and she's 5 weeks old now.

She's a doll.
ReplyDeleteP.S., I'm having a Wubbanub giveaway starting on Friday. If you don't know what a Wubbanub is, it's a Soothie paci with a tiny stuffed animal attached. YOu should totally check it out once it opens up since your little miss loves her Soothie so much!!!
Don't you looovvee the Soothie? They sell them at BRU in different colors. We had to search endlessly for them since it's the only paci Lily will take, and God forbid if we lost the only one the hospital gave us... we'd be in serious trouble!
ReplyDeleteShe's so beautiful! I can't believe how fast they're growing up... it's so bittersweet already. Isn't this the best feeling in the world? :)
